CEO’s Report – December 2025

December brings a time of thinking more of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Knowing Him as personal Savior makes every day of the year better, and it makes Christmas time more than just a holiday. Working at Bogard Press also is a special blessing. It’s not just work, but it is serving the Lord who saved us. Hopefully, we are honoring Him with our presence and actions at Bogard Press. Producing the only literature that is in harmony with the ABA Doctrinal Statement also is a special joy and privilege. Churches and individuals who use this material will be drawn into a deeper relationship with the Lord, for the Word taught and learned feeds the souls with spiritual food from above.

All things are well in Texarkana as our printing processes are on schedule, and our finances are stable as we continue to accomplish our mission of supplying literature for the churches.

A construction company recently dug out the ditch in the front of our property and installed a concrete “pilot channel.” Because we allowed them to rearrange a drain on the edge of our property for their benefit, they did this work free of charge to us. Now, rather than a person having to weed-eat a nasty ditch, mowers should be able to run up and down the edge with ease.

Our conversion from offset printing to Digital Printing is going well. This need arose due to our large Heidelburg Press coming to the end of its practical life. A new press would cost $4.5 million, and it is almost impossible to find people who can successfully operate one. Therefore, we are converting to a different kind of printing. We now have 4 Print-on-Demand (POD) units and a new finishing machine. These machines and some outsourcing of some of the printing is getting us through this time of transition. Sometime around 2026, our transition should be complete. This new printing operation will be about the same cost or maybe a little higher, but much easier, cleaner, require less operators, and require much less space in the building.

This downsizing of our printing machines will help us as we study other ways to downsize our overall operation. This downsizing may include a smaller building and other changes as we move toward a more stable future for this ministry.

Pray for us and come visit anytime. Thank you for allowing me to serve you.     J. A. Crain
