VBS season is coming to an end! We hope and pray you have had a successful summer of service to the Lord. Even though the dust of VBS 2024 may not have settled yet, it is not too early to begin thinking about VBS 2025. Now is the perfect time to reflect on what went well and what did not, and to set your focus on how to make next year’s VBS even better.
Our title for VBS 2025 is TIMELESS, and the motto is, “God’s Word is timeless.” VBS students will be introduced to a few kids who are writing for their school newspaper and interview a science teacher named Professor Maltsberger. The teacher asks them if they want to take a trip to a time machine that she’s been working on. The kids decide they want to know more about some lesser-known Bible people, then visit with Jesus to find out more about the role these people played in His plans. So, VBS students will journey through time to interview Caleb, Deborah, Joash, Aquila and Priscilla and Jesus. The children learn about God’s ability to help them become great leaders through faith in Jesus. This VBS is designed to inspire children to live out their faith in hope, even if they may not become famous or widely known for it.
